Yeah another birthday at the hostel! hehe

Tonight we went to Pizza Hut for dinner because we were not in the mood to cook for tonight's shared dinner, and also because some of us haven't eaten pizza for ages! It was quite nice! Miti bought two pizzas before coming to the hostel, and we have left over from tonight's dinner... I guess that I'm gonna have pizza for breakfast, lunch and dinner this week end! :P

Yesterday Miti and I went to Takapuna for a walk, it was quite nice. She went there for the first time and she enjoyed it. We had fun taking pictures at the beach! hehe The weather was ok: not too hot, not too cold and no rain... It felt good to be outside especially after the studies that I did in the morning! hehe We went to Wendy's for lunch, it was so good; I really enjoyed my burger. Maybe because I hadn't been there for ages! lol

Last night like every Friday nights we had our shared dinner. As always it was very yummy and everybody ate heaps! lol I posted some pictures of our dinner, so you can have an idea of what it looked like. Even though the main meat was chicken, it hadn't been cooked the same way. So each chichen dish had a different flavour and they were all nice, thanks guys! Moana made some...I don't know how do we call it! lolz  It was like a kebab with  vegetables and crab (anyway you can have a look at the picture, lol) and it was delicious too. Sae-mi baked some pasta and cheese and she put prawns for the decoration. We also had some vegetarian dishes such as Korean pancakes, vegetables, kumara chips, spring rolls and samosas. For desert  we had  peanut butter ice cream and a chocolate cheese cake, and Sae-mi made some bananas with cream for Wazi.
So a big thank you to all of you guys for making every Friday's dinner so special! :p

These biscuits were baked by Moana. She gave them different shapes. Weren't they cute? I just had the time to take the picture of the last two biscuits, before that Lynn came in and ate one of them! lol At least she left me the last one, salamat! lol

I've found those pictures of orchids on the net. Orchid is one of my favourite flowers. Since I'm in New Zealand I haven't seen any orchid, while we've got heaps of orchids back home. Why am I talking about orchids? Actually 2 days ago, Sae-mi and I went shopping to Woolworths and we stand a while looking at flowers. Then she asked me what kind of flower I liked, I immediately answered: "White rose". Then another picture came to my mind; a nice purple and white orchid! : p So when I got home I was still thinking about orchids, and I decided to look on the net for some pictures! hehe
While I'm writing this I'm thinking about flowers and another anecdote... When spring started, the tree at the hostel's entry (the one facing the uni's carpark) was covered of flowers only. It was very nice! I would have taken a picture of it, if I had had my camera! hehe Now the tree has leaves but no more flowers...
I guess that I just wanted to write something about flowers today! lolz

Those white roses are made up from tissue. A friend of mine made them. I tried to do one but it didn't look as nice as those one!
